Znam da će se krastarenja kad tad vratiti,ali neće uvjeti po kojima ste do sad navigali. Sad će tek početi rezanje plaća i produljivanje ugovora na svim kompanijama. Isto kao i na offshore 2008. Naravno da će ostat koja firma s ok uvjetima, al u globalu puška. Mišljenja sam kako nikad neće bit isto, i ljudi neće masovno kupovati krstarenja kao prije pandemije. Mali brodovi bi mogli dobro raditi i trebati će promijeniti strategiju poslovanja i tržište. Isto ko i u ostalim granama industrija. Nema više apartmana skoro. Samo ville brate.

Najvaznije od svega, kako ste i vi primjetili, je kolika ce bit kupovna moc putnika tj.po kojim cijenama ce industrija, obzirom na kapacitete, moci poslovati po restartu kad se jednom isti dogodi?
Obzirom na prognoze i vec realizirane padove svjetskih godspodarstava oporavak nece bit dovoljno brz da se olako visak prelije ka putovanjima na kruzeru.
Narednu godina je smanjena potraznja izvjesna- ako se pocetak uopce odigra.
Pogotovo obzirom da americko trziste puni nekih 60 posto svih kruz putnika, a kod njih takodjer "ne cveta cvece".
U svjetlu svega toga naravno da ce se trosak prebaciti i na cijene rada/trajanje ugovora itd.

Ostati ce sjecanje na neka drugacija vremena, starije kolege pricaju o tome kako su morali prvi dan ukrcaja po naredbi ici u disco i zabavljati putnice.I sto vec slijedi nakon nije bio problem.
Radilo se o osamdesetima ili ranim devedesetima, Commodore Cruise Line ako sam dobro zapamtio.Zene po lukama koje su na brodu (kao putnice) prvi put upoznavali.
Danas dobijes otkaz instant ako malo duze gledas a da te netko prijavi :(

Bit ce sta bude.... tesko da ce kleknit cruise industry. Promjena ce bit i tribat ce vrimena da se stvari vrate na staro, ali svaka industrija je imala uspona i padova u zadnjih 30g.... Ja sam optimistican, a sta se nas pomoraca tice u najgorem slucaju cemo trazit i naci (netko prije, netko kasnije) drugi posao... gladni necemo bit, zato relax i strpljenja. Cili svit je u banani, nije samo nama tesko i nepredvidljivo. Zdravi i veseli bili!

(Reuters) - Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd RCL.N has extended suspension of sailings until Nov. 30, excluding those originating from Hong Kong, the U.S. cruise operator said on Tuesday, as the COVID-19 crisis hurts demand for voyages.

The company said its cruise brand Celebrity Cruises will suspend its 2020-21 winter program in Australia and Asia, while its Azamara cruises will suspend winter sailings throughout Australia and New Zealand, South Africa and South America. (bit.ly/3nqdxkg)

The cruise industry has faced the brunt of the health crisis as major outbreaks in ships were blamed for spreading the disease, resulting in government-mandated “no-sail” orders and trip cancellations.

Carnival Corp's CCL.N Cruise line Seabourn also said on Tuesday it will suspend upcoming 2020 and 2021 voyages for three cruise ships in its fleet until spring 2021.

Za Azamaru je jucer izaslo da pocinju vozit u 3, 4 i 5mj sljedece godine, svi samo Europu. Svaki ce mjesec po jedan brod dizat.

To su sve nagadjanja i pogadjanja,ako bude cijepiva poceli bi i sutra voziti,ako situacija bude ista ko i danas,nece ni tada.

Ja bi ovo shvatija da je za sve od pune plaće, a za CatC ide od minimalne dry dock plaće
 
Nisam siguran da se odnosi samo na catC, ali nebitno, zanimljivo je kako se usude tvrdit da je to za dobro sviju nas i kako savjetuju da pratimo neku wellness stranicu dok smo zakljucani u nekoj smrdljivoj kabini u potpalublju, jer kao ....Now as we return to service.....it strikes a fair balance that benefits us all...i ostale floskule.

Quarantine Pay Policy Going Forward

Your health is our top priority in our healthy return to service. We’re continuously evolving to ensure a safe journey for you and our guests. The global pandemic strengthened many existing practices and safety protocols, as well as required us to implement new ones. One of the more impactful safety protocols we introduced as part of our healthy return to service is a quarantine period on our ships for crew and onsite for our island team members.

In the past, quarantine pay was made at full salary rates for minimum manning to protect your financial welfare during these difficult times. Now, as we return to service, we anticipate that the financial impact of quarantine pay, as is, will be far greater in the future.

Moving forward, the required quarantine period before beginning regular duties onboard or on our private destinations will be paid at 50 percent. Any subsequent quarantine periods after regular duties begin will be paid at 100 percent. This will be based on your full salary or minimum guaranteed dry dock wages for Cat C employees.

During your quarantine period, you will spend only a few hours a day completing required training. We encourage you to use the remaining downtime to explore our new Wellness page on MyRCL and invest in your health and wellbeing throughout this journey.

The new policy will become effective October 15, 2020 for crew joining ships on or after this date, whether for minimum manning or back in service. The same applies to our private destination team members. You will see this change, if applicable, reflected in the sign-on agreement. More information on specific pay scenarios is available on MyRCLHome.

We made this decision after careful consideration and believe that it strikes a fair balance that benefits us all. We anticipate that as the current situation changes and we’re able to transition back to normal operations, the quarantine protocol will evolve as well. Until then, let’s work together to make our healthy return to service a success.

Da, sad kad procitam malo bolje ispada da se ipak na svih odnosi. Jos sam jutros pricao sa crew adminom i govori i on da je samo za Cat C employees da druge nece dirat ali ipak mi ne zvuci tako na kraju.
 
Ukrcao sam se krajem srpnja (NCL), za 14 dana onboard karantene placeno mi je 50%.
Na tzv. yellow CBA (collective bargaining agreement-u) sam: deck,engine,hotel,medical officers.
Mislio sam da mi slijedimo vas u mjerama stednje, ali izgleda da je obrnuto.

P.S. Sva posada trenutno zivi na deck-u 9 i 10 u kabinama sa balkonima.
Tamo su bile i kabine za karantenu, zasebno odjeljene za period dok se karantena trazila.
Nakon odlaska iz USA ukinuli su karantenu na brodu za novo ukrcanu posadu, samo im je nametnuto nosenje maske odredjen period( 10-ak dana) kad su u kontaktu sa kolegama.
PCR obavezan prije leta naravno.

Ostalo nas je stotinjak za tzv. cool lay-up period, polovica personala deck-a i makine je poslana kuci.

Lipo to izgleda na papiru ali ne znan kako je uopće moguće napunit brod gostima i bit siguran da u sljedećoj luci brod neće dobit pedalu zbog 2 prehlađena putnika.

To se isplati jer se cruise vraca lagano na noge a dolaskom cijepiva sve ce buknuti i bice kao prije.

Mozda radije uzet od ccl ili ncl,pale su vise od 70% i kostaju oko 15,16$

kad vec nijesi iso na drillere kupi dionice drill firmi ,recimo transocean danas je 0,80usd

pa ako imas viska 10tusd ubaci u tu dionicu i cekaj koju godinu....

moz me barem zvat na marendu za 3,4godine kad prodas to po 30-50usd

ovi kruzeri guzeri nece toliko skocit ,pogotovo te skatule

Ne vraća se na noge, nego tone još dublje. Po zadnjim prognozama nema ništa prije 2022. zbog korone. Novi lockdowni svukuda samo što nisu. Ko je pametan i ko može prebacit će se na cargo.
